April 9, 2018, Washington, DC – The American Horse Council (AHC) is pleased to announce that Martino Flynn, LLC of Rochester, NY has been selected to manage and market the Time To Ride program for 2018. Established in 2012 and funded by AHC’s Marketing Alliance, a coalition of equine businesses and organizations, Time to Ride’s purpose is to attract non-horse owners to horses and horseback riding.
Georgetown, TX, December 7, 2017 – Time to Ride congratulates the winners of its 2017 Best Practices Contest, a written-entry contest that rewards Challenge contestants for their innovative and effective outreach strategies. First place winner is Blue Heron Riding Academy in Chandler, Indiana; second place is Rusty Bar Ranch of Roy, Washington; in third place is Suncoast Stables and Riding Academy in Odessa, Florida; and in fourth place is Nova Quarter Horses in Mokena, Illinois. The contest judged entries on creativity and innovation; effectiveness at reaching new horse enthusiasts; quality of newcomer horse experience; and efforts made to reach beginners.
November 16, 2017, Georgetown, Texas – The 2017 Time to Ride Challenge has concluded by awarding over sixty winning stables, clubs and businesses for successfully introducing new horse enthusiasts to riding. Breed and discipline organizations have partnered with Time to Ride to reward their members with even more cash and prizes for participating in the Challenge.
November 2, 2017, Georgetown, Texas – The 2017 Challenge concluded September 30th and after results tabulation, the Time to Ride team is thrilled to congratulate this year’s winning stables, clubs and businesses. The grassroots contest distributes thousands in cash and prize rewards to horse professionals who introduce new enthusiasts to horse activities, expanding access to horses while growing their own businesses. First launched in 2014, the 2017 Challenge resulted in over 22,000 new horse-human interactions, bringing the four-year total to over 117,000. “Our amazing hosts created a record number of events – 1,008 – throughout the summer period,” shared Christie Schulte, Marketing Manager. “Their tireless outreach efforts are promoting and growing equestrian sports, and expanding access to the wonderful benefits of being around horses.”

The sweepstakes encouraged equestrians of all backgrounds to join the movement to increase participation in horse activities by taking a newcomer friend riding.
September 13, 2017, Georgetown, Texas – Just a few days remain to enter Time to Ride’s Pledge to Take a Friend Riding sweepstakes. The contest ends September 16th and will send one lucky winner on a dream-come-true trip to Kentucky simply for sharing horseback riding with a friend.
